Fenn has a terrible reputation around the After Hours candy table. A red horn appears, a purple wing disappears, and another wrapped sweet goes missing. By midnight, everyone at That bakons’ celebration suspects the same little cat. Fenn, naturally, looks far too pleased with himself.

Then Pip notices a trail of treats leading past the garden wall. Fenn has been leaving candy on the doorsteps of neighbors who could not make the party, each parcel finished with a crooked bow. His mischief has good manners; he simply prefers to keep them secret.
